Jajah.com is an internet call company that offers rock-bottom call rates, a wide range of services and a system that’ll keep you dialing. Here’s how to get started.

Go their homepage and sign up. You can do this either by filling out the fields in the upper right corner, or by clicking on the free signup link on the homepage, which is encircled in red in the above image.

Some of the fields will be pre-accomplished for you. You’ll just have to input your email address (make sure it’s valid and accessible because you have to confirm your registration), your phone number (just enter one for now; you can add more later on) and your password. Click on the Join button at the lower right and you’ll have yourself a Jajah.com account. Check your email for the validation link that will finish the registration procedure.
Once you finish registering, you’ll notice that you’ll already have some money in your account. It’s not much – just several cents – but it’s enough for one call to let you get a feel for using the services of Jajah.com. If you’ve got a friend or a relative in another country, you might want to give him or her a call. Dig up the phone number and get ready to call on JAJAH.
There are several ways to call using the services of JAJAH. You could get a local number for your contacts and then call them directly from your landline or mobile phone at JAJAH rates. You could call from the JAJAH website using the JAJAH.Web service. If you have one of those new internet-enabled mobile phones, you could even place a call from your mobile browser.

When you visit the call interface for the first time, you’ll be asked whether you want to get ads with your JAJAH service. If you agree, you’ll hear an audio ad played instead of the ringing sound when you call. In addition, you’ll also get a call rate that’s even lower than the ones JAJAH advertises. Click on the “Yes, I want free JAJAH credit!” link if you’re interested, and then fill up the form.

After you’ve gotten that out of the way, click on Add Contact in the My Address Book menu. You’ll be shown a prompt like the one shown above. Enter the phone number you want to call (you can use the JAJAH test number if you don’t have anybody in mind) and then hit the big green CALL button. Be ready to pick up the phone that you registered because it’ll ring a few seconds after you click. A voice prompt will then guide you through the final steps to complete the activation of your JAJAH account.
