Tone Software launches ReliaTel

Written by josh on February 15th, 2013

Making news in the VoIP scene this week is Tone Software. They launched their ReliaTel Free VoIP QoS Monitoring Tool earlier this week. What is it? I’ll explain.

Tone Software calls ReliaTel an all-in-one downloadable free tool. It’s an easily accessible solution that will help businesses manage the quality of critical voice services within the Cisco UCM VoIP environment as well as the Microsoft Lync UC environment.

An important aspect of ReliaTel is multi-platform management across multiple VoIP and UC technologies. The new ReliaTel takes advantage of this by providing support for both Cisco UCM and Microsoft Lync in one free downloadable solution.

This week’s offering is easily configured and helps companies’ operational teams to gain immediate visibility into the quality of their Cisco UCM and Microsoft Lync voice services, including QoS alarming and dymanic QoS management dashboard views.

Recent research by Infonetics shows Cisco IPT now holds the largest enterprise market share, while Microsoft Lync growth has soared by 40% in late 2012. If you’re an organization looking to gain strong business dividends from these VoIP and UC investments you should seek more cost effective ways to ensure high quality and service levels from your Cisco and/or Lync communications technologies. Hence turning to ReliaTel.

“The ReliaTel Free VoIP QoS Monitoring Tool is a direct result of what VoIP teams have stated they need — a straightforward, easy to attain, easy to implement solution to proactively manage the most prevalent issue they face — quality of service,” Amit Kapoor, director of strategic technology at Tone, said.
