Web Conferencing with Adobe Connect Pro
Written by mattb on November 23rd, 2010Everyone’s heard of Adobe and if you haven’t, I don’t know where you’ve been. Along with Adobe’s other amazing products like Photoshop, now you can also do web conferencing with Adobe Connect Pro.
Connect Pro allows you to share presentations and multimedia which can be viewed from any web browser across the planet. If you need to discuss private information, you’ll be happy that another feature of Connect Pro is the heightened security with a 128 bit SSL. Like most products, it will work on Windows, Macintosh, Linux, and Solaris.
No memory for what happened in the meeting? No problem, Connect Pro makes it easy to record and download so you can view it all over again. Another cool feature is breakout rooms which are basically independent meetings you can create outside of the main meeting. Just like in real life, the host can actually enter all the individual breakout rooms if necessary.
And let’s not forget instant messaging service. Pity the fool who doesn’t include this trendy service. Instant messaging can also be used with Connect Pro allowing the hosts to see the list of invitees and their present status.
