Call India even if you don’t have high speed internet, with VoipVoip

Written by josh on December 10th, 2012

You see all these VoIP services out there. You want to take advantage of their cheap prices. But you don’t have high speed internet. You’re out of luck…or are you?

VoipVoip is your solution to calling internationally for very low costs even if you don’t have high speed internet. VoipVoip offers something called Voip Direct, which, if you reside in one of 20+ countries, you can use VoipVoip from your mobile or home phone even if you don’t have internet available. No access number nor pin needed either.

For the skeptics, this is how it works:

– You give VoipVoip the phone number of a friend in another country, say India, and they give you a local number for them.

– Save that number on your mobile or home phone and you’ll be able to call your friend in India whenever you want, and do it for a fraction of your normal international rate.

– If you do not register your friend in India’s number for VoIP Direct, you can also use your VoipVoip account as a calling card service and dial VoipVoip’s calling card access number in India and still enjoy the same low international rates.

You can get started for as little as a $10 deposit (that will hold you over for 500 minutes!)

VoIP Direct access adds 1 cent/minute to normal VoIP rates. The standard rate to India is 1.9 cents/minute.

Do you like this idea? I think it’s pretty spiffy myself.
