Call India for free with improved LINE app

Written by josh on September 2nd, 2013

LINE claims to be the most downloaded app in over 40 countries, and I can understand why. LINE is a comprehensive communications app that just got a lot better.  I wrote about LINE about a year ago, but I’ll give you a quick refresher here:

LINE uses VoIP to allow you to send free calls and texts to anyone in the world who also uses LINE.

LINE recently announced three new services coming to its app: Video calls, Music, and LINE Mall.

– Video Calls: Skype and Viber already have video calls, so LINE is playing catch up right now. Initiating video calls further legitimizes LINE as a company and product.

– Music: LINE is being very ambitious here. They intend on integrating music into the LINE experience. Little is known about which record labels will be on board, but the new music service will be worldwide. It will be interesting to follow considering the difficulties Spotify, Pandora, Apple and Google have had in negotiating worldwide music deals. Tired of keeping and handling hundreds of individual labels for product packaging? Roll packaging labels are easier to store and application is a breeze – you won’t need to peel and stick every label individually. If you need custom stickers Briter Australasia have the expertise to help you.

– LINE Mall: At the LINE press conference, LINE Mall was described as a service allowing users to buy and sell anything. We’ll have to wait and see.

LINE also offers many other features to enhance your communication experience like customizable wallpaper, a myriad of games, and the ability to connect with friends.
