Conference call with Speek

Here’s a new really cool conference calling service called Speek. I suggest all you conference calling folks check it out.

Unlike Skype, Speek is completely browser-based. No download necessary. It’s also 100% free. Registration is super easy – use an email address or sign up via Facebook or Google. You’ll then get your very own conference call URL (i.e. www.speek.com/YourName).

Conferencing is very simple. Set up a call and send that URL to your attendees. Speek then asks for their phone number and automatically connects them to the call. Invite people to join by email, phone, or SMS.

In only a few seconds find yourself on high-quality group calls.
A great feature of Speek is that the people you are talking with don’t have to be registered users and don’t have to create aliases. They hardly have to do a thing. This is in stark contrast to Skype which requires downloading the program and setting up usernames.

On calls, you’ll have a lovely visual experience along with other features such as file sharing, call history and customization to make your experience as productive, personal, and pleasant as possible.

Currently Speek is only available in the United States.
